I've read through the reviews after our first meeting recently, and agree with them all. They were suggested to me by a fellow nurse, and good friend, years ago, when I'd tell her we met with our FA advisor. It was the same message every year' "You're looking good, I wouldn't change a thing, see you next year". That was reassuring, but didn't address realistic outlook and strategies that could change with time. Admittedly, I/ we don't understand much more than general FA concepts. Technical terms and potential strategies we should consider usually cause my eyes to glaze over and brain to shut down. Dan and Bekah listened and understood that about us and answered in a way that truly made sense and we delved into way more in-depth topics/ strategies than we'd ever discussed with past FA advisor. Or, maybe it was that my eyes weren't glazed over and my brain was engaged with his words. My only regret is not seeing them sooner. I can't thank my friend enough for repeatedly telling me how much help they were to her, and to Dave and Bekah for our initial meeting. I cannot recommend them enough!

I am someone who is not confident with financial decisions. I felt very comfortable discussing my financial situation with them. After my meeting I felt educated and confident about making decisions regarding my savings goals. Will be recommending them for sure! Especially if you are an MNA member!

I totally recommend Dorval & Chorne. I got a lot of answers and recommendations based on my needs. It was awesome, I could understand everything that was said,there were no big financial words that I couldn't understand,and at no point I was overwhelmed. I was so stressed before about the financial future of my family, and now I feel so relieved after our meeting, and i know where to start and what steps to take. Very respectful of my situation. I had no clue for a lot of things and now I know I can make some decisions that are good for my family. I already took my 1st step yesterday after our meeting. Please do not hesitate to meet with them,it will be great for your future.

They were wonderful! They answered all of my questions and explained everything in layman's terms. They listened, looked at my individual situation, and kept quality of life as a central theme as they prioritized actions I could take to help me achieve present and future goals. Dan and Ellen’s guidance and financial planning during our working years made our comfortable retirement possible. They understand the emotional side of saving, investing, living your life, “spending” and not spending. They are good teachers and their deep knowledge, honesty and sense of humor make financial planning and living our “golden years” less scary.
